Pellet/Briquettes Plant Particles Emission Abatement Practices

Applies to: Pellet/Briquettes Plant

This indicator refers to the prevention of negative effects that particles emissions from fuel combustion have on human health. Common abatement installations for the reduction of PM emissions are cyclones, electrostatic precipitators, fabric filter and scrubbers. However, these technologies differ in separation efficiency.

Which measures are implemented to abate particles emissions?

Fabric filters, electrostatic precipitator, wet scrubbers

Use of gaseous fuels

Other dust reduction measures (e.g. cyclones)

No measures
