Description:

This indicator refers to the reuse of ash from crop residue combustion. The ash content for straw is around 3-5%, while for woody residues is usually below 2%. Ash can be utilised as fertiliser, in road construction, cement industry etc. The indicator covers collection, management and share of ash that is reused.
