Fertiliser Use

Applies to: CR Collection

Description:

This indicator refers to the prevention of negative impacts of mineral fertilisers use on water bodies. The indicator considers fertilisation practices applied and fertilisation value of crop residues.

Question:

What effects does residue collection have on fertiliser use?

Rating:

Fertiliser use decreases or stays the same

Fertiliser use increases by the amount needed to replace nitrogen removed from the fields with residues

Fertiliser use increases by the amount that is higher than needed to replace nitrogen removed from the fields with residues
