Description:

This indicator refers to the negative impact of noise emissions from transportation on human health. Transport is the most dominant source of environmental noise. According to the WHO findings, noise is the second largest environmental cause of health problems, just after the impact of air quality. The indicator covers mode of transport, which determines frequency of residue transportation, and a distance of transportation route from residential areas.
