This indicator refers to the prevention of negative impacts of storage wastewater on nearby waterbodies. The indicator considers storage type (closed or open storage), location, permeability of storage base and wastewater management.

What is the type of storage facility?

Is the storage facility located in a sensitive groundwater area?

Does the storage facility have an impermeable base?

Which wastewater is produced by the storage site?

Are wastewaters separately collected?

Are wastewaters treated, monitored and discharged in line with relevant regulations and permits?
